DC Automation & Maintenance Technician I

Ferguson is currently seeking a Automation and Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 4:00pm - 12:30am

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a wide variety of warehouse equipment including AutoStore ASRS various Packsize systems and Sealed Air units.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair all equipment by applying electro-mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
• Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets Ferguson standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
• Research evaluate and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to improve the capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean safe and accident free.
• Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies procedures and requirements
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic knowledge off hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas including weekends nights and/or holiday.
• High attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a fast paced changing environment.
• Positive demeanor dependability and strong work ethic.
• Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
