SAP Procure to Pay Team Lead

Title: SAP Procure to Pay Team Lead / SAP MM (Materials Management) Functional Consultant
Location: Plano, TX
Duration: 6+ months contract on W2

5 days Onsite role.

Description Of Services:
Drive issue resolution with strong ownership and initiative, ensuring timely closure and stakeholder satisfaction. 
Support end-to-end procurement processes (Procure-to-Pay) from purchase requisition creation through purchase order processing, goods receipt, invoicing, and payment, ensuring seamless business operations and issue resolution across the procurement lifecycle. 
Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and provide effective SAP MM solutions. 
Handle escalations proactively with realistic timelines and clear communication. 
Strong understanding of AIF interfaces and error handling. 
Should have strong knowledge of EDI and IDOC configuration, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting, with the ability to analyse and resolve interface-related issues effectively. 
Work extensively with integrated SAP modules, like FI, SD, PP and technical teams to resolve cross-functional issues. 
Good knowledge of OBYC, movement types, and other MM configurations. 
Experience handling production support, incidents, and escalations. 
Good hands-on experience with Excel for reporting and analysis.

Deliverables:
Process Flows.
Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members. 
Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility.
Participate in data conversion and data maintenance.
Provide best practice and industry specific solutions. 
Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions. 
Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed. 
Participate as a team member of the functional team. 
Perform other duties as assigned.
