We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Armed Guards to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and responding to incidents professionally and efficiently.

Position Overview

We have part-time and temporary positions available for Swing Shift assignments. Ideal candidates must be vigilant, responsible, and capable of handling potentially volatile situations with professionalism.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

✅ Minimum Certification: Active Level III Commissioned Security Officer License in the State of Texas
✅ Other Requirements:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Must be available for weekend shifts
• Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus

Key Skills

• Conflict management and de-escalation techniques
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication for interacting with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action
• Conduct security inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Enforce rules and regulations related to access control and loss prevention
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies
