PURPOSE The Administrative Associate III, under general supervision provides complex administrative support work. DESCRIPTION Functional Area 1: Administrative Support Percent Effort: 40%
  • Prepare and route written communications and reports.
  • Respond to requests for information and documentation.
  • Assists with maintaining calendars, schedules, and appointments.
  • Assists with coordination of meetings and events.
  • Performs data entry and retrieval and maintains data files.
  • Maintain inventory and order office supplies
  • Send announcements to the faculty
  • Maintain communication with departments regarding participation in college/university events
  • Functional Area 2: Student and Staff Support Percent Effort: 30%
    • Assists with coordinating activities and assign work to student workers.
    • Assists with providing procedures training to new students.
    • Assists with travel arrangements with staff in Deans Suite and set up itineraries and make hotel reservations.
    • Performs and assists with other job-related duties as required.
    Functional Area 3: Operations Support Percent Effort: 30%
    • Maintaining college website
    • Responsible for university/college news
    • Maintain college events calendar and post on website
    • Serve as back up when needed to Administrative Associate V and Administrative Coordinator I
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Three years of related experience.
    • Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum requirements.
      • Associates degree and one (1) year experience.
    • Ability to multitask and work professionally and cooperatively with others.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills - word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
    • Five (5) plus years of relevant administrative experience
    SALARY $16.05 - $18.02 /hourly, approximately.
    • $33,384 - $37,481.60 /annually, approximately.
