• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

ROLE IMPACT

This role provides essential front-line support for a child care assistance program, ensuring parents and providers receive accurate information and timely responses. Success in this position is defined by strong communication, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a steady flow of inquiries while maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer and route incoming parent and provider phone calls with professionalism and accuracy

• Support case-related follow-ups as requested by caseworkers or program staff

• Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and maintaining a friendly, helpful atmosphere

• Document communications and updates in the appropriate system or log

• Collaborate with program staff to ensure prompt resolution of family and provider concerns

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ year of experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support

• Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette skills

• Ability to handle multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office systems

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Multi-line phone systems

• Data entry or case management software (training provided)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience in a social services, child care, or nonprofit environment

• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
