Inventory Specalist

A leading industrial manufacturer in the Houston 77064 area is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to drive efficiency within a lean, paperless production environment. Working a standard Monday through Friday shift with frequent opportunities for overtime, you will act as the vital link between the warehouse and the assembly floor, managing a diverse inventory ranging from raw steel and hydraulic components to high-tech sensors used in custom-engineered machinery. Your daily responsibilities include performing digital cycle counts, kitting specialized parts for assembly teams, and utilizing an ERP system to maintain 100% data accuracy while proactively eliminating production bottlenecks. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $18 to $20 per hour and is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with forklift experience and a commitment to precision who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact manufacturing workflow.

Responsibilities

Use inventory management software to log every part that arrives or leaves. verify the packing slip against the Purchase Order (PO) to ensure everything is correct and undamaged.
