Your New Role

• Review project specifications, construction drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope of work

• Prepare detailed material takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial HVAC and MEP projects in San Antonio, TX

• Analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive and accurate bids

• Perform risk assessments and identify scope gaps prior to proposal submission

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, owners, and design teams to ensure complete and accurate pricing

• Support the project management team during proposal development and contract negotiations

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

• Entry-level to 3 years of commercial construction estimating experience

• Experience with MEP estimating required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents

• Proficiency with estimating software such as Building Connected, On-Center, Cost OS, and Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to meet auto insurability requirements

• Certified Professional Estimator credential is a plus
