Business Development Manager - PCB Manufacturing Services
This role is HQ'd in Dallas, TX and you will work remote from a home office with up to 40% travel to customer sites. Some global travel, but primarily domestic.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the PCB Manufacturing Services sector. This role focuses on global market expansion and client acquisition, with a particular emphasis on consultative sales and closing large multi-year agreements. The ideal candidate will be a 'hunter' who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving growth in the electronics manufacturing services market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in global markets within the PCB manufacturing sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth in the electronics manufacturing services market.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and value proposition.
- Negotiate contracts and close large multi-year agreements that benefit both the company and the client.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions for new clients.
- Travel 35%-50% of the time to meet with clients and prospects globally.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience with Med-Tech, Lifesciences, and Aerospace market sectors.
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in business development or sales within the electronics manufacturing services industry.
- Proven track record of client acquisition and closing large multi-year agreements.
- Strong understanding of global markets and market research methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative sales approach.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
