Eligibility Supervisor

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING AND ABLE TO REPORT TO THE OFFICE LOCATED IN AMARILLO, TEXAS.

  • Works directly with eligibility manager to assist in day-to-day tasks
  • Organize and delegate work evenly to the eligibility team
  • Assist in the training and development of new hires
  • Gather and provide feedback for employee performance
  • Account for all personnel feedback and assist eligibility manager in improving processes
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Handles all personnel in absence of management
  • maintain currently eligibility for our clients. (web transactions, eligibility files, employee navigator reports, emails, phone calls)
  • assist in generating premium invoices
  • Provide basic customer service to internal and external clients regarding eligibility related questions
  • Escalate complex discrepancies or issues to level 2 premium admin.
  • Renewals
  • Updates to paperwork
  • Open enrollments
  • Premium posting audits
  • Support implementation of new groups or eligibility systems by reviewing initial enrollment data for accuracy.
  • Max age audits
  • Post payments
  • Distribution of premium invoices
  • Audits for renewals and open enrollments
  • Handle escalated discrepancies or issues from level 1 premium admin
  • Reviewing ID cards
  • COBRA packet auditing
  • COBRA billing reviews
  • Web transaction audits
  • Outstanding premium reminders
  • Billing audits
  • Eligibility clean up audits
  • Schematics
  • Escalate complex issues or discrepancies to eligibility manager
  • Create new agent/carrier benefits
  • Build new groups
  • PRLET letters
  • Other duties as assigned by management

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.

Experience in data entry, access, AR/AP, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA and Section 125 preferred.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.

People management skills preferred

Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with heavy emphasis on Excel

Demonstrated longevity in work history

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
