The University ofTexas at Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its highly skilled hospitalist program at UT Health Tyler, a 502-bedLevel 1 Trauma Center in East Texas.

Your Work:

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• 12-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
• Hospitalist experience required
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff and other APPs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, optimize clinical outcomes, and improve care delivery processes
• Utilize Epic EMR

Construction is currently underway on a five-story,248,000-square-foot Medical Education Building (MEB) in Tyler’s MidtownDistrict. It willalso aid as part of a medical education program expansion throughout the UTHealth East Texas Health System. The building is scheduled for completion inthe fall of 2025.
