Lead PKI Security Engineer
Kforce has a client in need of a Lead PKI Security Engineer in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities:
- Manage and support digital certificate lifecycle processes across enterprise environments
- Administer and maintain cryptographic infrastructure and related security platforms
- Implement and uphold encryption, key protection, and security governance standards
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve certificate and authentication-related issues
- Automate security processes and improve operational efficiency through scripting and infrastructure tools
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of critical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in information security, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline
- Experience supporting enterprise cryptography, digital certificate management, and secure authentication solutions
- Knowledge of encryption technologies, key management practices, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience with security infrastructure, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure authentication and certificate services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Experience developing scripts and automating operational processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
- Security certifications are a plus
