About the Role
As a Data Center Technician, you’ll work hands‑on in our data centers supporting customer requests, installing infrastructure, performing cross‑connects, and helping ensure a great customer experience. You’ll follow clear standard operating procedures, receive training, and grow your technical skills over time.
This role is open to entry‑level through experienced candidates , including veterans and apprentices .
What You’ll Do
- Complete work orders from a queue while meeting committed timelines
- Rack and stack customer equipment
- Support installations of fiber trays, ladder racks, cabinets, and basic cage infrastructure
- Perform standard cross‑connect installs, terminations, and testing
- Follow cable management standards for fiber, copper, and coax
- Perform Layer 1 testing and certification
- Document work accurately in systems
- Support customers on‑site with professionalism and care
- Partner with teammates, vendors, operations, and security teams
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent hands‑on training
- Military technical experience, apprenticeships, trade programs, or workforce development programs are welcome
- Willingness to follow procedures, safety standards, and documentation requirements
- Interest in hands‑on technical work and learning new skills
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Data center, IT, cabling, or critical facilities experience
- Familiarity with fiber, copper, or coax cabling
- Experience working from tickets or queues
- Customer‑facing or on‑site support experience

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dal Dallas : 46,400 - 69,600 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
