Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Associate
A leading AmLaw firm is seeking a 2-4 year associate to join its nationally recognized Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice in Austin. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team on sophisticated matters while building a highly marketable specialty.
What You'll Do
- Advise clients on a range of executive compensation and employee benefits matters
- Support work involving equity plans, executive employment arrangements, and compensatory partnership interests
- Assist on ESOP transactions and related structuring
- Work across a variety of corporate and transactional matters involving compensation and benefits considerations
- Collaborate with partners and clients on complex, high-value engagements
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of legal experience in transaction work (experience in executive compensation, employee benefits, or related areas preferred)
- Exposure to equity compensation, ESOPs, or executive arrangements is a plus, but not required
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
- Interest in developing deep expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
