About the Role:
The Outside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by actively engaging with prospective and existing clients across various industries throughout the United States. This position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions that align with company products and services. The representative will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals and providing post-sale support. Success in this role directly impacts the company’s market presence and customer satisfaction levels, making it essential to consistently meet or exceed sales targets. The role demands a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, face-to-face sales environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service and value.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar client-facing sales role, preferably within the relevant industry.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within assigned sales territories.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer data.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals within assigned territories.
- Conduct in-person meetings and presentations to demonstrate product features and benefits tailored to client needs.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Prepare and deliver accurate sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to strategically position company offerings.

Proficiency in time management and self-motivation enables the representative to efficiently plan their travel and sales activities across diverse territories.
