Accounting Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for various financial tasks, including double-entry bookkeeping, budgeting, and technical accounting. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, possess excellent attention to detail, and be proficient in financial software to ensure accurate and efficient financial management.

This is a contract to perm position.

Duties:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records align with bank statements.
• Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes to support financial planning.
• Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support corporate accounting activities such as month-end close processes.
• Collaborate with management team members to optimize financial operations and reporting.
• Assist with Payroll processing
• Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in accounting software for financial data management.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Knowledge of Year end business and payroll taxes
• Familiarity with financial software for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to apply technical accounting concepts effectively.
• Prior experience in corporate accounting is beneficial.
• Must have knowledge and work experience of google suite, Microsoft office and tech savvy
• Bilingual is a plus
• Medical Clinics accounting experience is preferred.
