Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

This position involves managing the maintenance and repair of our fleet, conducting diagnostic tests, performing basic repairs, and executing routine and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans for the company fleet.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and address necessary repairs.
• Conduct functionality tests on vehicle parts and systems.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Replace or charge car batteries, and mount and rotate tires as needed.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of maintenance and repair records for company vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area at all times.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Minimum of one year of automotive repair experience.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
• Excellent customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Experience with Google Suite or related software for maintaining service records and tracking inventory.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Physical capability to perform repairs, including lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to work safely in a noisy area with various odors present.
• Good vision for inspecting repair work and physical flexibility to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat during repairs and inspections.
