Group Reservations Coordinator - Hilton Americas Houston

The Hilton Americas-Houston is searching for an Group Reservations Coordinator to join their talented team! Located in the heart of downtown Houston, this beautiful 1200 room hotel is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via skywalk and adjacent to both Discovery Green Park and Toyota Center - home of the NBA's Houston Rockets.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, a background in hospitality, and knowledge on OnQ, R&I are a plus!

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

What will I be doing?

As Group Reservations Coordinator, you will perform routine procedures in order to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction and will work to develop future and repeat business opportunities in groups. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Processes group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements.
• Works with the revenue team to set up pricing and inventory for groups utilizing OnQ and ensuring accuracy
• Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office.
• Processes reservation request calls as appropriate, assists internal and external customers.
• Coordinates and implements department activities and projects.
• Provides clerical support and assistance to management.
