Software Engineer - Transformation
The Agile Transformation team is dedicated to enabling agility and high performance across the company through fully aligned ways of working and data and metrics that drive desired outcomes. Our work involves defining, implementing, and continuously refining practices and tools that foster a more adaptive and responsive work environment. We collaborate with each Business Unit to understand how they develop and deliver products, and leverage industry best practices and technologies to develop solutions that promote transparency, increase collaboration, and accelerate product delivery. The Software Engineer role on this team will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining AI enabled software applications and tools tailored to the needs of our internal teams. This individual will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and various business units to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions that improve team efficiency and support decision making processes.
Essential Functions
Application Development
- Design and develop AI first software applications and tools to meet the needs of internal stakeholders and support agile practices.
- Leverage GenAI tools to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate and adapt AI models into software applications to improve functionality and performance.
- Develop and implement database schemas, queries, and integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow and management.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Work with product managers and business analysts to gather and understand requirements.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop AI agents to create, automate, and execute unit tests to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Design and implement application monitoring to ensure successful user experience.
Documentation and Support:
- Use GenAI tools to create and maintain technical documentation to support developed applications and tools.
- Provide support and training to internal users to ensure effective utilization of software solutions.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in software engineering, agile methodologies, and AI technologies.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of development workflows and agile practices.
- Explore and adapt new AI models and algorithms to optimize software development processes.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
2 or more years of work experience
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree, e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD
Proficiency in at least one object oriented programming language such as Java, Python, C plus plus, or Ruby.
Experience with DevOps environments, practices and GenAI enabled software engineering tools.
Familiarity with MVC, Model View Controller, and microservice strategies.
Hands on experience with GenAI models, preferably with integrating models into applications.
Practical understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
Curious and driven, always seeking to learn, improve, and innovate in all aspects of the role.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders effectively and confidently.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 88,000.00 to 136,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
