Job Title: Special Projects PM/Estimator
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 (Depending on experience)
Location: DFW
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Senior Project Manager / Operations Manager

Position Summary:
The Special Projects PM/Estimator will be responsible for estimating and managing electrical construction projects ranging from $1 million to $2 million . This role is ideal for a junior PM or assistant PM looking to grow into full project management responsibilities. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle —from bid preparation through execution and closeout—with a strong focus on smaller, fast-paced jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for special projects
Develop detailed project scopes, budgets, and timelines
Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects
Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Conduct job site visits to ensure work is progressing according to schedule and budget
Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Forecast labor and material costs and monitor job profitability
Support purchasing and procurement of materials
Assist in project closeouts and final documentation
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in electrical construction (project management, estimating, or both)
Familiarity with projects in the $1M–$2M range
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
Experience with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick) preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
Self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
OSHA 30 certification
Previous field experience in electrical trade a plus
