Key Responsibilities of the RN - Bone Marrow Transplant

• Provide exceptional care for patients with bone marrow transplants
• Administer chemotherapy with adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct bedside shift reports and safety rounds
• Float as needed to maintain optimal unit staffing
• Occasional participation in BM biopsy procedures

Requirements of the RN - Bone Marrow Transplant

• BLS, ACLS, and ONS chemo certifications required
• Oncology and PCU level care experience
• Proficiency in telemetry reading and simple titration of drips
• Strong assessment skills and competency in administering chemotherapy
