Job DescriptionChampions School of Real Estate is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Career Counselor to work at our Galleria campus location. This candidate will meet with potential and current students to assist with course selections, guide students through the registration process, handle incoming phone calls for student support, participate in campus career events and marketing initiatives, proctor exams for students in the campus testing center, organize classroom materials for instructors, and support the Campus Manager with daily campus activities. Outstanding customer service skills, a superior work ethic, and exceptional multi-tasking abilities are required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Meet with students one-on-one to review available program options
- Assist students with selection of course registrations and schedules
- Answer daily incoming calls for student support
- Assist with daily student class check-in process
- Respond to student email inquiries, answer questions, and conduct follow-up
- Oversee student testing center and proctor exams
- Assist Campus Manager with projects and tasks
- Participate in campus marketing and events
- Support campus instructors to prepare classroom materials
- Report course completions to state and national agencies
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Assist with opening and closing campus duties
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and supportive approach
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals
- Active listening skills and empathetic approach to customer support
- Experience in marketing, sales, career counseling, real estate, or education
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and follow-up skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and effective time management
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing customer needs
- Creative thinker
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with database software
- Self-motivated with a passion for helping others achieve their career goals

- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Punctual and ability to commute to campus location
- Legally authorized to work in the US
Required Campus Work Schedule
Tuesday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Compensation: $45k + Monthly Bonus
