Position Overview for the Grants Specialist:
Qualifications:
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with IT concepts (e.g., software, hardware, cybersecurity) to effectively translate technical needs into compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, grant databases, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities to work independently as a contractor.
Required Skills for the Grants Specialist:
  • 3+ years of experience working as an Analyst within IT or Finance department
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Grant Writing and Grant proposals/request (Fundraising, Nonprofits, and/or Government)Â
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Office, Grant Databases, PM software
  • Bachelors degree in public administration, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
