Senior Vice President of Marketing

Job Description:

A private investment firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President of Marketing to spearhead the development and management of its high-growth builder’s risk platform. The company operates multiple entities including an admitted carrier, an excess and surplus carrier and a managing general agent. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the go-to-market strategy, executing growth initiatives, and scaling distribution channels. The role involves expanding relationships with lenders, agents and distributors, especially as the platform advances beyond Texas into key Southeast markets and other states. This is an executive-level position that requires a strategic builder’s risk distribution leader capable of defining positioning, establishing repeatable acquisition channels and aligning product underwriting with operational execution to deliver a seamless bind experience at loan origination. The organization values a collaborative, in-office culture with preference for candidates based in Texas or willing to relocate. This is a retained search.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a distribution growth strategy to build repeatable channels across lenders, agents and program partners, with clear targets by state, segment and channel.
• Identify, originate and deepen senior-level relationships with key builder’s risk distribution partners, creating partner programs and incentives, and facilitating joint planning sessions to sustain production levels.
• Manage the execution of go-to-market plans by overseeing pipeline discipline, lead flow, conversion processes and producer enablement to accelerate growth and adapt strategies based on performance metrics.
• Refine market positioning, craft compelling product messaging, and establish brand credibility by articulating the value proposition centered around speed-to-bind at loan origination; translate underwriting appetite into market-ready communications and field materials to increase close rates and reduce friction.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to align underwriting, operations and leadership around growth priorities, hire and develop marketing and distribution teams, and build scalable structures to support continuous volume growth without slowing business momentum.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in insurance marketing, distribution and growth leadership within high-growth environments
• Deep expertise in builder’s risk insurance including product distribution, go-to-market strategies and partnerships with agents or lenders
• Established industry relationships in builder’s risk, real estate investment, lending and distribution ecosystems
• Proven track record of executing in entrepreneurial settings with a focus on speed, strategic vision and hands-on operational delivery
• Experience building and scaling teams, processes and distribution channels with potential for broader executive leadership responsibilities
• Strong strategic vision and business acumen, with the ability to connect marketing initiatives to long-term business objectives
• Demonstrated growth mindset, ownership mentality and results-oriented approach focused on achieving measurable outcomes
• Influence and collaboration skills to build trust and alignment across organization levels and functions
