Echo Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Healthcare Setting: Noninvasive Lab – Hospital
• Location: Harrisonburg, VA 22801 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call Rotation: Every 7th week
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 9, 2025
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,620 - $2,690

Echo Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Echo Technologist (Echo Tech), including at least 1 year of travel healthcare experience
• Current RDCS-AE (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification through ARDMS or equivalent credential
• Proficient in 2D echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and pharmacological stress echocardiograms
• Experience with Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo, EPIC, and Prosolv (Synapse) healthcare systems
• Skilled in using Phillips IE33 and EPIC imaging equipment
• Flu vaccination required for all healthcare professionals

Echo Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a range of echocardiographic studies, including stress echo, Dobutamine stress echo, 2D echo, and transesophageal echo
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and healthcare software (EPIC, Prosolv/Synapse, Phillips IE33)
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess heart disease and blood flow abnormalities
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high-quality imaging standards
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
