Job Title: Software Engineer - Python Centric
Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid
Salary: $80,000 - $115,000

Position Summary:

Are you passionate about Python and excited to use it to optimize system performance for custom software and hardware platforms? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to apply your Python expertise to support our critical warehouse and mobile device-related systems.

In this role, you'll help build, maintain, and enhance software that processes data from connected devices while refining shipping, receiving, and triage workflows. You'll collaborate with our Engineering and Product teams to develop and improve cutting-edge integrated software and hardware platforms, driving automation, productivity, and system stability.

What You’ll Do:

• Work primarily in Python to support critical software systems for our custom software and hardware platforms.
• Enhance and debug Python applications
• Use Python, PostgreSQL, and other systems and processes to enhance productivity, preserve stability, ensure consistent APIs, and enhance system speed.
• Work in an Ubuntu/Linux desktop environment
• Work in a cross-functional distributed team environment

What You’ll Need:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant experience may substitute for and/or augment relevant degrees
• 3+ years of experience working with Python
• 2+ years of SQL experience with PostgreSQL experience ideal
• 1+ years of AWS Cloud or similar cloud experience required
• Exposure to warehouse automation is a plus
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Strong communication and excellent problem-solving skills
