EEG Technologist (Per Diem)

Cortica is seeking a per-diem EEG Technologist with extensive pediatric EEG experience and familiarity with Cadwell equipment!

What will you do?

• Setup, operate and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs
• Perform equipment diagnostics when needed
• Keeping inventory of EEG supplies
• Apply electrodes to a patient’s head without expectation that the patient will remain still or be able to follow directions
• Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team working with children with developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers
• Teammates are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
• Basic understanding of and ability to use basic software and systems including, but not limited to, electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products;
• Daily use of laptop and/or tablet for email, note taking, and other tasks required

We’d love to hear from you if:

• You are a graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program
• You possess an associate degree
• You have experience working with pediatric patients with autism and other developmental disorders
• Registered Electroencephalography Technologist Certification (REEGT) preferred
• You have a BLS Certification
• You are able to work independently with minimal supervision

The base pay range for this opening is $30.77 to $38.47 an hour . According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
