Kafka Administrator (Houston, TX)
Responsibilities:
- Installation configuration of Confluent Kafka, Apache Kafka, RMQ on environments like Linux, EC2, Windows, AIX, along with Cloud Kafka, Configurations like MSK Confluent Cloud
- Experience in using best practices design patterns of confluent Kafka
- Experience with Middleware Administration using Web Sphere MQ Series 80
- Monitor and troubleshoot the issues related to the Kafka
- Worked on creating and configuring Local Queue Managers and Remote Queue Managers
- Familiar with implementing Distribution Communication and Clustering Communication over different platforms
- Experience in configuring and performing DR recovery scenarios
- Well versed in the various procedures and processes involved in resolving outages and providing production support for multiple projects
- Good experience in using MQSC commands
- Creating Kafka topics using control center and command lines and trouble shoot the user reported issue
- Has worked on ACL commands in creation providing access to users Onboarding new clients in Kafka environments and other Messaging Technologies
- Creating federations as per the client requirement to federate the messages from downstream to upstream
