Accountant
Primary responsibilities include the preparation of payroll, payroll audit review, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This will also include accurate and timely employee payroll payments, benefits, bonuses, and commissions, considering deductions and withholdings. Secondary duties include monthly journal entries, reconciliations as well as account analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all payroll and benefits administration
- Assist with preparation of month-end and year-end accruals and schedules
- Reconciliation of all payroll-related accounts, vendor statements, and trade balance sheet
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of the year-end audit processes
- Accounts payable will include expense reports, rent & utilities, all vendors, route invoices for approval, code invoices for payment, processing PO boxes, and disbursements
- Will assist with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly accounts receivable billing and collections as needed
- Will process all US payroll and commissions including auditing and processing production bonuses, overtime, and commissions
- General ledger account entries to include accounts payable expense accruals, bi-weekly payroll Journal Entities, and monthly payroll accrual
- Prepare monthly Gross Margin Reports alongside the Senior Accountant to relay information to site leaders
- Assist with managing petty cash, credit card activities, franchise taxes, and property taxes
- Performs other related tasks as requested
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Field Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience with an emphasis in payroll preparation, accounts payable, and payroll tax reporting
