Tesis USA is seeking candidates for a Senior Automation Engineer position in Bay City, TX , with the following knowledge and abilities:

• At least 4 years of experience as Engineer in automation projects.
• Bachelor Degree as an Electrical Engineer or related in the automation field
• Location: Bay City, TX.
• Advanced Experience in PLCs, Drives, and HMI. (Required Siemens)
• Must have experience in the commissioning of automation projects. Experience in steel companies is preferred.
• Must have the knowledge and the capability to develop a PLC program as well as an HMI. Knowledge in Allen Bradley and is required.
• Knowledge in Allen Bradley safety, programming and troubleshooting is required.
• Advanced knowledge in PLC work cycle programming, creation of advanced HMI screens, knowledge of Rockwell programming libraries. Knowledge in Ladder logic programming for advanced PLC, experience in Siemens environments is desired. knowledge in TIA PORTAL (at least V13), safety programing knowledge and industrial automation
• Basic robotics knowledge (desirable)
• Must have Electrical Experience.
• Must be able to use diagnostic tools for the analysis of the solution of automation problems. This is required.
• Sequential PLC programming.
• Configuration of PLC and HMI communication networks: Profinet, Ethernet, ControlNet, Devicenet, Profibus DP, Modbus Plus, etc.
• System diagnostic programming.
• Advanced knowledge of the use of hardware/software for PLCs and
• HMI: Siemens.
• Advanced level knowledge of the use of hardware/software for Scadas
• English communication skills are required (speaking, writing and reading).
• Self-motivation and proactive behavior is required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues.
