To be considered for Project Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
· Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years related avionics experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems, integration, and development processes.
· Experience with spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
· Willingness and ability to travel globally which is typically 10 - 15 weeks per year but can demand higher travel commitments based on program needs.
As a Project Engineer, you will:
· Assist in the design, development, implementation, integration, and analysis of avionics solutions to meet the program requirements. Perform engineering design evaluations and provide technical interface to customers and project teams over multiple projects.
· Review and evaluate product requests from customers and formulate conceptual and feasible design changes to existing products to meet customer requirements.
· Support the project avionics development and design which can include developing compliance matrices against technical requirements, system architecture design, wiring diagram reviews, and troubleshooting.
· Evaluate product design for conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and specifications.
· Perform system/software integration activities to verify proper functionality of the products.
· Become highly knowledgeable in the architecture, design, and function of our company's avionics products.
· Consult with project personnel and others to provide technical assistance.
· Recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
· Establish knowledge of the avionics and aircraft certification processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,080.72 - $129,828.39 per year
