Oracle DBA With AWS
We are looking for a Database Engineer / Oracle DBA, hybrid position located in downtown Minneapolis . This role requires strong, hands-on experience with Oracle as the primary database platform, along with working knowledge of SQL Server and some exposure to MySQL and PostgreSQL .
You will be responsible for managing and supporting databases in an AWS RDS cloud environment , ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. Experience with Bash , Python , and Terraform is preferred to help drive automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support Oracle , SQL Server , MySQL , and PostgreSQL databases.
Administer and optimize databases within AWS RDS .
Perform database maintenance, tuning, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python .
Use Terraform to support cloud infrastructure provisioning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
Strong Oracle DBA experience (primary requirement).
Experience with SQL Server; exposure to MySQL & PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS RDS.
Scripting skills in Bash and Python; Terraform preferred.
Ability to work in a hybrid role in downtown Minneapolis.
