The Senior Cloud Platform Architect position is an advanced IT professional responsible for determining and developing architectural approaches and solutions, researching new technologies and approaches, creating standards and roadmaps, and developing recommendations for migrating to future standards. The Architect is expected to have familiarity in one or more architectural domains and to contribute to the overall planning of the overall organizational IT strategy.  

• Architect and Design scalable, secure, and highly available, cost-effective cloud platform solutions based on business needs.
• Architect solutions that span across multiple cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, AWS, Google Cloud) or integrate on-premises and cloud environments. 
• Architect cloud solutions by choosing appropriate cloud native services for PaaS and IaaS based on the use case, considering cost, security, performance, and scalability.
• Design Oracle Cloud Integration platform solutions, PaaS and VBCS application security architecture and Integration with Oracle Cloud Fusion applications.
• Architect Single Sign on Solutions using Entra ID and IAM domains. 
• Architect solutions using API gateway, load balancers for efficient routing, authentication, rate limiting and security. 
• Design microservices platforms leveraging containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), DevOps platforms and Message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Design AI/ML platform systems, RAG agents, SQL Agents integration architectures, Vector Databases for various business use cases that are scalable, cost-efficient and secured. 
• Leverage cloud platforms for distributed training and scaling of AI/ML models, utilizing specialized hardware accelerators like GPUs or TPUs.
• Automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. 
• Design secure cloud architectures that follow industry standards and best practices, such as data encryption, secure APIs, identity management, and  access controls. 
• Design continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) DevOps solutions in Azure ADO and GitHub.
• Ensure cloud architecture solutions comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards. 
• Architect disaster recovery strategies for cloud applications to ensure business continuity.
• Develop PoCs for cloud platform technologies that to prove the business use case. 
• Create architecture diagrams and system designs to visualize and communicate the solution architecture. 
• Work closely with infrastructure, Development, Governance and project Management teams. 
• Conduct architecture review and training sessions.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience architecting, designing, developing mission critical enterprise applications in Cloud native and on-prime environments.
• Deep expertise in one or more cloud providers technology capabilities (Azure, OCI, AWS, Google Cloud), OCI and Azure experience is preferable.
• Expert knowledge on cloud PaaS solutions, Databases, Serverless functions, API Gateway, Load balancers, Event hubs, streams, Blob Storage, Fabric clusters and Content hosting CDN.
• Expert knowledge on Cloud networking concepts and components like, VCN, Subnets, Routes, NSG, SL and gateways.
• Expert knowledge on IAM, identity domains, IAM policies and RBAC.
• Expert knowledge on Entra ID integration for SSO cloud applications.
• Knowledge of containerization Docker, Kubernetes is essential.
• M365 platform architecture knowledge is desirable.
• Expert knowledge with one or more programming languages commonly used in cloud development (Python, Java, Go, Node.js, .NET and PowerShell).
• Knowledge of security concepts like IAM, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Integration workflows, Connection Adapters and authentication protocols.
• Knowledge on Oracle cloud HCM and ERP platforms is a big plus.
• Knowledge on Azure OpenAI, OCI GenAI solutions, RAG and SQl agents development, Vector search optimizations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and clarity in presentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with self-motivated individual.
