Electrical Engineer
MINIMUM 4 YEARS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL TRAINING EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer I – Technical Training to join our Training Center in Houston, TX.
Schedule: Hybrid – Houston, TX (up to 50% travel required)
Requirements for Electrical Engineer I – Technical Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical training or engineering, preferably in renewable energy or solar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of solar inverters or power electronics technologies and applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in training software, virtual platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Broad understanding of electrical and construction site safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and a service-oriented mindset.
• Effective collaboration across multicultural, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer I – Technical Training:
• Design and develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
• Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions using lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to maintain accurate, up-to-date training content.
• Develop and administer assessments to measure knowledge retention and training effectiveness.
• Establish certification processes for field service engineers and vendor partners.
• Organize and lead customer visits and product introductions at company facilities.
• Gather and analyze participant feedback to refine training programs.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support to internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Support repair center activities when needed.
• Assist in developing technical proposals and reviewing scope-of-work documents.
• Contribute to data analysis and visualization projects as required.
