Procurement Operations Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Operations Manager to serve as the backbone of our DFW-based AI infrastructure firm. You will be the primary point of contact for mission-critical vendors, hardware suppliers, and administrative partners, ensuring our operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor & Provider Management: Act as the primary liaison for data center providers (e.g., Tierpoint ). Manage service level agreements (SLAs), coordinate site access for technicians, and oversee billing/resource usage.
• Supply Chain Follow-up: Coordinate with hardware vendors like Supermicro to track orders, manage RMA processes, and ensure timely delivery of high-performance computing components.
• Insurance & Compliance: Manage corporate and project-specific insurance policies (GL, E&O, Cyber). Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and coordinate with brokers during renewal periods.
• Administrative Oversight: Handle general office management, including local bookkeeping support, document management, and coordinating with executive leadership on specialized projects.
• Procurement Support: Review and process purchase orders and invoices for specialized technology equipment and infrastructure services.

Candidate Profile

• Technical Savvy: While this isn't an engineering role, the candidate must be comfortable discussing "rack units," "lead times on GPUs," and "power density" without getting lost.
• Logistics Experience: Proven ability to manage complex hardware delivery schedules and facility access protocols.
• The "Closer" Mentality: Someone who doesn't just send an email to Supermicro but follows up until the delivery date is confirmed and the tracking number is in hand.
