Position: Concierge
Hours: 10am- 7pm
Pay: $19/hr
Contract
Responsibilities
· Create and maintain relationships with tenants to assist with promotions, events, product launches.
· Work with Marketing Manager to form lasting and interpersonal relationships with local concierges to support Local and Drive Markets that visit the property.
· Form a relationship with all vendors, third parties and tenants to ensure success of Marketing programs.
· Attends on and off-site staff and tenant meetings.
· Share marketing initiatives and programming with the concierge staff
· Communicates with tenants on arrival of VIP guests to the District.
· Oversee all concierge services.
· Ensure coverage of the concierge desk by having open availability and making concierge schedule.
· Provides feedback to team members and identifies opportunities for training and improvement.
· Create the monthly schedule to ensure the concierge desk is constantly monitored.
· Coordinate supply order with Marketing Manager.
· Serve as an ambassador for the property and mentor concierge staff to the same standard.
· Welcome guests with an emphasis on fulfilling requests; following special handling instructions and adhering to established policies and procedures.
· Familiarity with the current offerings of all retail stores, including salon and spa services.
· Recite all information regarding District facilities, hours of operation, key personnel, special events and activities and functions.
· Handle telephone calls and email requests.
· Offer adequate directions to River Oaks District from any location.
· Assist in arranging for restaurant reservations and limousines as required by our guests.
· Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife and recreational destinations.
· Receive deliveries as needed for management office, third parties and tenants if requested by Management.
· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· Strive to ‘surprise and delight’ our guests.
· Handle guest problems or complaints in conjunction with management, keeping them well informed as to the problems and actions taken.
· Communicate to all support departments any necessary information or requests.
· Assist guests with parking and wayfinding.
· Speak clearly and communicate via radio to other staff members.
· Ensure the public areas are maintained, clean and tidy by partnering with Housekeeping department.
· Understand the tasks performed by all operations departments.
· Perform other tasks and projects as delegated by management and employees
Qualifications and Skills
· Prior experience in luxury hospitality, residential, retail or customer service operations.
· Proven work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service.
· Positive and helpful demeanor.
· Ability to be outside in all seasons for a prolonged amount of time. Ability to stand for scheduled shift.
· Results oriented, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate with passion, energy and enthusiasm.
· Presents self in a confident, poised, polished and professional manner.
· Tech savvy with ability to work on computers and iPads. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
· Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, weekends and holidays.
· Must be physically able to lift, push or pull up to 30 lbs. The Concierge performs continuous walking, standing, lifting, climbing stairs, pushing and pulling as needed.
· Some College, degree preferred.
· Multilingual Preferred.
