Role Overview:
As a Financial Analyst at Foundation AI, you will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Finance, you will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to evaluate financial trends, maintain and refine forecasts, and drive strategic initiatives throughout budget cycles. This is a critical hire on a small, high-impact team, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with data to drive business decisions, and is passionate about optimizing financial performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Financial Strategy: You will work alongside the Director of Finance and Accounting to develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial models that fuel company growth.
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize our tools (NetSuite and Vena) to craft financial models that guide executive decisions.
• SaaS Metrics Mastery: Analyze industry-specific KPIs (think Rule of 40, gross margins and recurring revenue trends) to ensure financial health.
• Reporting Excellence: Prepare high-impact financial reports that empower leadership and provide actionable insight into business performance and trends.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with teams across the US and India to align financial goals with company strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years for financial analysis experience (preferably in SaaS or a software company). Experience working with PE backed companies is a plus!
• Software Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of revenue recognition, ARR and SaaS-Specific financial metrics.
• Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in NetSuite, Vena and/or DataRails - or a knack for picking up new financial tools quickly.
• Financial Modeling: Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with strong analytical chops and a talent for translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Resilience & Drive: A self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-paced, and high-growth environment. You possess a strong work ethic, a competitive spirit, and a relentless focus on results.
