Business Development Manager - PPC Capital Equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of power generation business strategies.
  • Identify new opportunities and build relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Provide voice-of-customer insights on emissions, equipment performance, and market trends.
  • Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams on projects, quotes, and proposals.
  • Coordinate proposal development for RFPs with cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver presentations, attend industry events, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Assist PPC sales team with key oilfield service accounts when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Effective time management: highly organized and detail focused.
  • Strong business acumen, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with technology and data tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

  • Proven "hunter" profile with success selling technology into the power generation market.
  • Takes ownership in challenging situations and resolves conflicts effectively.
  • Strong networking capability and relationship-building skills.

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
