Nurse Practitioner
NURSE PRACTITIONER
JOB SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Nurse Practitioner, working closely with Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants to provide excellent patient care. You’ll examine patients, diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans in a friendly, supportive environment. If you’re passionate about making a difference and delivering high-quality care, we want to hear from you!
SUPPORT: You’ll have a Dedicated Medical Assistant and Medical Scribe to help streamline patient care and documentation, so you can focus on providing high-quality care!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Physically examine patients; perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations.
- Conduct health assessments including recording complete medical history.
- Record symptoms; update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment.
- Order and interpret laboratory test results.
- Make diagnoses; analyze test data and determine need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options.
- Develop a treatment plan that may include applicable therapies.
- Follow up on a patient to determine the effectiveness of recommended treatments.
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity.
- Provide patient education to promote habits that will prevent diseases and maintain good health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians and Physician Assistants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredite d Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience:
- Nurse Practitioner: 2 years (Preferred).
- Family Practice: 2 years (Preferred).
VACCINATION: NOT REQUIRED!
