Data Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The candidate must have strong proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and data‑quality tools like Alation and Bigeye to effectively analyze and validate enterprise data.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Analyze complex datasets using SQL and RDBMS concepts to extract insights and validate data accuracy.

• Interpret dimensionally modelled databases and support ELT/ETL processes to ensure consistent data flow.

• Utilize Alation, Bigeye, and Informatica DQ to manage data quality, metadata, and governance workflows.

• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to maintain RDM/MDM implementations.

• Develop data validation checks, profiling routines, and documentation aligned with DAMA framework principles.

• Monitor data quality metrics and address issues proactively across analytical and operational datasets.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in data analysis, SQL‑based validation, and RDBMS environments.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, RDBMS, and working with dimensionally modelled databases while supporting ELT/ETL processes.

• Hands‑on experience with Alation, Bigeye, Informatica DQ, and implementing RDM/MDM practices aligned with DAMA framework principles.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
