Heavy Equipment Operator

We’re looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to support underground electrical infrastructure projects by handling Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and more . Your New Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Petri Electric, you’ll be responsible for:
Operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, and other excavation equipment for trenching and material handling
Performing precise and efficient excavation for underground electrical systems
Following blueprints, project plans, and safety protocols
Conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance
Working with site supervisors, electricians, and crew members to complete projects on time
Maintaining a professional, safety-first mindset
This position will be based in Richardson, TX, and work throughout the metroplex .

2+ years of experience operating Mini Excavators, Backhoes, or similar equipment
Strong understanding of trenching techniques, underground utilities, and soil conditions
Ability to read and follow electrical site plans and construction blueprints
Valid CDL (preferred, but not required)
Equipment certifications required for machinery you operate
A commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
