- Collaboration with Project Teams: Liaise with the Project Manager to provide timely updates on the status of acquisitions and ensure project deadlines are met. Coordinate with survey crews and contractors to keep all parties aligned.
- Legal Compliance: Communicate legal terms and documentation requirements to landowners in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring compliance with all client standards.
Education & Knowledge Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in land acquisition, with a background in one or more of the following industries: Pipeline Acquisition, Department of Transportation, Public Utility, Oil & Gas, or Real Estate.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain legal terms and project details in simple, clear language for landowners and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with industry-specific software for document management and communication.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they arise.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation and contract execution.
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working with project managers, survey teams, contractors, and landowners.
