Operations Finance Manager
SUMMARY:
·Responsible for leadership and management of core accounting and finance
·Partners with the divisional president and market leadership to ensure achievement of the annual plan, development of an accurate forecast, and achievement of key financial performance initiatives
·Core responsibilities to include: forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis & reporting and manage billings, contract administration and accounts payable
·Will partner closely with corporate accounting and finance to achieve objectives
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Manages a team of 10-25 including overall team direction and goals, staffing and performance management
·Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results
·Responsible for setting department deadlines
·Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business
·Manages the monthly forecasting process for the region including understanding market drivers, gathering pipelines, analyzing results and recommending a final forecast
·Analyzes financial trends to identify opportunities to improve financial performance. Prepares Ad hoc data reports for revenue, expenses and other business metrics
·Manages data entry and compliance in numerous detailed transactional systems (Enterprise accounting and financial software, revenue, pipelines/CRM, contract management, planning software, etc.)
·Responsible for maintaining data integrity, data standards and governance, data clean-up, training staff and developing quality control measures
·Ensures compliance with company policy, real estate law and state/federal guidelines in areas of responsibility
·Partners with other divisional teams and departments to identify and implement organizational best practices
·Develops training program(s), business processes and system training program(s) for a team to include creation of training strategy and implementation of training plan for the region
·Leads and facilitates communication of policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure consistency across the region. Ensures shared knowledge, implements process improvements and engages right resources in issue identification and resolution
·Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area
·Propose staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination
·Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime
·Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff
·Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies
·Leads by example and models&rsquo behaviors that are consistent with the company's values
QUALIFICATIONS:
·Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university (MBA and/or Commercial Real Estate experience are a plus)
·Minimum of 10 years of related experience or minimum of 15 plus years&rsquo experience including 4 years of management experience (previous supervisory experience required)

·Should have experience with or exposure to businesses of $500M in revenue or more
·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Graphics, Pivot Tables, Macros and high degree of comfort navigating enterprise financial software systems.
·Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style
·Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups
·Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action
·Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
·Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment
