Medical Director of Utilization Management • Texas & Florida(1009)
The Job
This prestigious medical group is an industry leader in medical risk management, disease management, chronic care programs and healthcare delivery services.
They currently serve over 400,000 patients in Texas and Florida, directly employ more than 1700 physicians, as well as provide contracted medical management services to many contracted independent practices. Annual revenues last year exceeded $2 billion.
This exceptional position will oversee the group's Utilization management program either from the group's Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas or it may be managed from the home city of the successful candidate remotely.
Qualifications
Requirements for this lucrative, leadership position are: Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, the ability to manage, mentor and inspire staff, knowledge of and experience within a Medicare Advantage program and direct experience with Utilization management within a large Medical Group or Managed Care Organization.
