Regional Sales Associate - Dallas

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Associate who resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to support and grow our sales presence within the North Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas area. This individual will implement sales strategies, build dealer and contractor relationships, and represent MAX at job sites, events, and trade shows. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to territory development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Visit jobsites to demonstrate MAX products directly to contractors with distributor involvement.
- Seek out new distributor partners as needed within the territory.
- Implement MAX sales programs and promotions including RBU program.
- Attend and support trade shows, industry events, and distributor open houses.
- Cover other territories on an as-needed basis.
Account Management
- Maintain strong relationships with current dealers:
- Train inside and outside sales staff on MAX products and features.
- Merchandise retail locations using signage, point-of-purchase displays, stickers, and posters.
- Identify key sales personnel to target for training and promotional efforts.
- Conduct jobsite visits alongside customers to reinforce product value.
- Ensure timely follow-up to customer requests.
- Make bi-weekly calls to each key account.
- Partner with Office Manager to assist with collections on past due accounts.
Reporting & CRM Usage
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred) daily to:
- Track interactions with customers and distributors.
- Monitor sales pipeline and bonus eligibility.
- Submit timely reports:
- Expense reports
- Dealer visit summaries
- Trade show reports
- Confirmation and thank-you letters to customers
Product Support & Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering teams to test products in the field.
- Provide feedback from jobsites and distributors to support product development.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Complete special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, ideally with a manufacturer or industrial equipment company.
- Experience in developing pricing strategies, executing sales promotions, and training customers and staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM platforms preferred.
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment to and from jobsites or trade shows.
- Physical ability to set up and dismantle displays at events and open houses.
- Overnight travel as required.
Salary : 70k - 95k commensurate with experience and qualifications
