BASIC PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties related to the identification and resolution of Receiving issues as well as resolving Discrepancy issues.

BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

• Run Receiving reports for various warehouse codes to confirm Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) information matches the packing list received from the supplier (Three Way Match).
• Ensure all warehouse inventory reports are accurate and all serial numbers are accounted for in order to prepare for shipment the following day.
• When checking ASN against the packing list, notify floor supervisor and material handlers if a discrepancy is foundin order to avoid shipping discrepancies while ensuring issues can be resolved quickly.
• Maintain records and files of all receiving discrepancy and shipping logs are in the proper order as needed.
• Ability to do research on Raw Material Management System (RMMS)and Integrated Procurement System (IPS) to resolve invoicing issues and discrepancies reported by Raw Material floor personnel.
• Ability to communicate via email to different plants on any issues or discrepancies which need to be resolved within 48 hours.
• Operate computer terminal, data entry display terminal, printer, radio frequency unit, handheld scanner and other equipment in the work area as needed.
• Follow and establish quality system policy and procedures.
• Perform all housekeeping duties (PIKA-PIKA) at various times during the shift in work areas, including maintaining equipment in the work area in neat and orderly conditions
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED requiredas well as up to 2 years of clerical experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent typing and data entry skills as well as filing skills needed
• Working knowledge of Raw Material receiving, picking and shipping process and procedures is a plus
• Work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
