Job Summary:
Alluvionic is excited to support the Financial Services Division of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and is pleased to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Analyst I. In this role, you will play a key part in our team, providing valuable assistance with a range of financial analysis tasks and contributing to the continued success of the USMS.

Clearance Required : Yes – Obtain a Public Trust

Responsibilities :

• Processes financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Reviews accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars.
• Identifies corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.
• Reviews and analyzes annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrates proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software and general knowledge of financial statements.

Qualifications :

• Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• Superior attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
