JOB SUMMARY

The Front Office Representative at Village Health Partners (now a part of Catalyst Physician Group) will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience from check in to check out. We're a purpose-driven organization, passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and providers. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check patients in for appointments, update patient demographics. and obtain insurance information
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and accurately document patient information in EMR
  • Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances upon check out
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and efficiently
  • Schedule follow-up appointments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas
  • Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of medical office experience, preferably in a Primary Care office setting
  • Athena EMR experience
