Capillary Field Operations Manager
- Supervise and coordinate daily work assignments for technicians, proactively managing schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Set clear goals, delegate tasks, establish deadlines, conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and coaching to team members. Address feedback, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Manage inventory operations, including ordering, scheduling, and controlling stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to identify discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Lead by example to promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the team and department.
- Operate pneumatic and manual hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure trucks and trailers are maintained in accordance with company standards.
- Exhibit advanced customer relations skills, including the ability to train customers and effectively communicate technical information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers through regular face-to-face interactions, supporting the product line, geographic area, or sales channel responsibilities.
- Champion the use of sales tools and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Develop and manage budgets, implement financial controls, and mitigate risks to ensure operational objectives are met within budget constraints.
- Demonstrate adaptability by supporting other product lines as needed.
- Enforce strict compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive company and customer information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 2 years' experience leading technical teams within the oil & gas industry. Ability to drive and motivate a team to effectively accomplish business goals.
- Hire, train and develop team members, including performance management.
- 4 years' experience splicing electrical cable, capillary cable, TEC cable and testing CT Line.
- Strong mechanical skills, perform mechanical field maintenance work to ensure optimal availability and reliability of artificial lift equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot customer issues. Respond promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service.
- Excellent communication oral and written skills, ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization as well as with customers, in a respectful and professional manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; effectively prioritize and plan work actives. Organizes and schedule daily work order/task. Develops action plans effectively.
- Good business acumen skills and ability to understand key financial drivers.
- Good computer skills.
- Must speak Spanish
- Must have a valid US Driver's License.
- Must be a least 21 years of age to operate company vehicle.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
- Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push.
- Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
