Position Overview

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for the Building 1375 project in San Antonio, Texas.

This position requires hands-on experience with threaded/screw pipe and valve pack installation . The Pipefitter must be able to work from drawings and piping isometrics, perform accurate layout, thread and assemble piping, and install valve packs and associated components to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and piping isometrics

• Determine piping layout and installation requirements

• Measure, cut, ream, and thread pipe

• Assemble and install screw/threaded pipe and fittings

• Lay out and install valve packs

• Install pipe supports, hangers, and related components

• Verify elevations, alignment, spacing, and valve/component orientation

• Inspect and test completed piping installations

• Identify and correct leaks, installation issues, and deficiencies

• Coordinate with supervision and other trades

• Follow all project and site safety requirements

Requirements

• Commercial or industrial pipefitting experience

• Strong experience with threaded/screw pipe

• Experience assembling and installing valve packs

• Ability to read piping drawings, plans, and isometrics

• Proficient with pipe-threading, measuring, and layout tools

• Ability to perform accurate piping layout and installation

• Reliable attendance and transportation

• Ability to meet all project onboarding and site requirements

Pay

This position is designated as prevailing-wage/scale work and will be paid according to the applicable project wage determination.

The specific hourly wage is pending confirmation and will be communicated prior to placement.
