Pre Primary Lead Teacher

Position Overview

Pinnacle Montessori of Georgetown is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and passionate Pre-Primary Lead Teacher to guide our classroom for children ages 18–36 months .

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most important early years of child development while being part of a supportive and collaborative school community.

The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating and leading a developmentally appropriate, Montessori-aligned environment that encourages independence, exploration, and confidence in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement a Montessori-based toddler curriculum
• Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and milestones
• Foster emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development in alignment with Montessori principles
• Build strong, positive relationships with families through open communication
• Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers
• Maintain compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing requirements and school policies

Qualifications

• Montessori Toddler or Primary Certification preferred
• Experience leading a toddler classroom (ages 18–36 months)
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and child development
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
